How do I customize the default background color from harness?
How do I customize the default background color from harness? I have placed a yellow highlight question mark over the color that is default when we start a case? It seems the color coming from container by default, but it is not obvious for me where the default color is set and where I change.

You can customize screen layout background in your application skin. In harness there will be screen layout, you can specify that style for that screen layout

Hi,
You can also try this way.
When you click on screen layout in particular harness, then you will find inline style, there you can select background color required. PFA

This is not within Guardrails. Please avoid using inline styles as much as possible. That is only the last resort.

Hi Dyan,
you will be able to configure background styles by either creating a new mixin or by using existing mixins for the container format you are choosing. This can be done under Skin rule form for the container formats.

Double click on the container layout you will have the format drop down. Now this format can be customized in the Skin.

Hi Dyan,
I created a small usecase at my end and changed the background color.
The attached document has screenshots to help you with your usecase.
Hope this helps!

I see Standar, Custom Header and No header only, which do not seem to related to the Skin. Can someone please help me understand how the container works in terms of its format in the harness?

Hi Dyan,
Please find details provided in the Help:
Format Choose a format to control what appears above the layout (known as a header), and the appearance of both the header, and aspects of the body. This choice primarily affects styles and appearance.
Using the Skin rule, you can review or revise the styles (colors, fonts, padding and margins) associated with each header format.

Description |
No Format |
No header appears. In addition, no styles applied to the body that are specific to this container, including background, fonts, colors, padding, margins, and so on. |
Standard Header |
For a bolder or more prominent header. The first container using this format contains the standard attachment, expand all, history and close item icons. |
Custom Header |
For a custom header. Select in the HTML field an HTML rule that defines the content and appearance of the custom header. |
No Header |
A header is not rendered. |
In the application skin, you can modify standard format in container component.

Hi Mounika,
Thank you for the details. I am using Pega 7.2.1, I am not able to locate the 'Standard' format in skin rule used in the container. The container has format called 'Standard' though.
