how to create a child case as a remote case type in upgraded 7.1.8 environment?
We have upgraded our PRPC applications(lets say A) from 6.3SP1 to 7.1.8.
Created new application(lets say B) on fresh 7.1.8 envrionment on different server.
Now we are trying to display the B's work object in A as a child workobject. So we are thinking to implement Federated case management. In A we have created case type rules for old work objects. so we tried to create a child case type rules for the existing cases. But we could not see the 'Remote case' checkbox in advanced settings of Case type rule form.
Can some one please confirm, wether we can create a child case as remote case type or not?
otherwise Please let me know any other suggestion for the above requirement.

There are a number of links off of there based on specific topics you you'll need to set up. I assume once you've got that all configured the checkbox will become visible.
