How to convert the results of a report definition into csv format and send them by email in an activity?
Hi Guys,
I created an activity and in Step 1 I called a report definition. Next I want to convert the result set of the report definition to CSV format and send it by email. Which one can tell me how to do this?
Also, I use pxRetrieveReportData in the 'method' input field to call the report definition, but what should I select in the 'Step page' input field that follows?

Hi, I use pxRetrieveReportData in the 'method' input field to call the report definition, then enter the report name and report class as method parameters, how do I receive the output of calling this report definition in current step? And then how do I pass that on to the next step?
Actually, I don't know how to pass data between steps in the activity, and it would be very helpful if you could help me with this question. Thanks a lot.

This is the screenshot of an ootb activity, as per the above screenshot, the results will be available in pyDataRecordsOriginal Page under pxResults. You can use your Page.pxResults in the next step for further processing.
If you check the references of pxConvertResultsToCSV you will get samples on how to use it

Can you check the activity "pxConvertResultsToCSV" and use that to convert the results to csv.
But Can you please try the scheduling option in Reports like Arul suggested before going for an activity?
