How to Convert raw file data into human readable document
Hi
I have a requirement to open the document in the approiate file format (word/excel/pdf etc) , below is the data recieved from rest service provider where the documnet is kept .
I am not sure how do i convert this data .
Approaches tried are attached in the document .
Any help would be highly appreciated

Reolved by REST Service provider chnage:
Changes : instead of raw file data , base64 enoded data is prvoded now , which can be in deocdetoBytearray / sendFile.

Is your PARAMETER "PDFDocument" set to type 'String' on the PARAMs tab ?
If so: that might account for the error you see:
Caused by: java.lang.ClassCastException: java.lang.String cannot be cast to [B
Which (I am guessing) comes from this line in your Java:
byteArray=(byte[])tools.getParameterPage().getParameterValue("PDFDocument");
Try changing the PARAMETER type from 'String' to 'Object' and repeat your test - same issue ?
Additionally - the TRACER screen you show; appears (maybe) to show you DO have the raw bytes of the file (it starts with 'PK' - suggesting it is a ZIP (rather than a PDF ?) though ? ) - but the TRACER itself is unable to display the BINARY file ? (OR: it could mean a Byte->String Cast has already corrupted the RAW string).

The file which i am trying to download is a docx file , file name and path is set in the step 2 of the activity , document path and name is correct as i can download when i hit the url directly in the browser (this url is restricted to client network , will not work in public domain)
