Your requirement seems similar to the Expand Pane configuration in repeat grids/Table.

Can you please view the grid -> Expand Pane component in the UI Gallery?

Please provide more information if my understanding of your design is wrong.

Here, the case displays a list of cars in which user has to select one car. I thought of implementing this by adding a column with radio buttons on right to the list with one radio button assigned to each row of the list.Whenever user selects the radio button and submits the case the selected car's details should populate into the next assignment
