How to configure Connect-Rest with JSON in Pega 6.2v?
I have to consume a Service Rest which is expecting JSON in the request and process the request and provides response in JSON.
Now the problem is I was provided with complex JSON structure and I'm clueless like from where to start configuring the Connect-Rest.
Like what are the prerequisite rules needed.
I tried to proceed with steps of Pega 7 Connet-Rest Article but it was done using Connect-Rest Wizard where we don't have one in Pega 6.2v.
So Please help me in Creating a Connect-Rest with out Wizard in Pega 6.2v.

In 6.x we need to create the rules manually like Connect-REST, Request/Response mapping etc. Please make sure to pass valid JSON without special characters at first stage.

Vyas, in 6.x, as Gangababu said, we need to create rules (classes, properties, connector) manually. I understand your question. You want to know how to go about creating rules manually.
Suppose, this is your sample JSON:

}
Pega expects the JSON field names to match Pega property names. JSON objects must be converted into properties of type Page. JSON arrays must be converted into properties of type Page List. For example, with the above sample JSON and Int-Sample as the class where your REST connector resides, you can create the following Pega data model.
Int-Customer (class extending from Data-)
- name (single value, string type property)
- contact (single value, integer type property)
Int-Wrapper (class extending from Data-)
- customer (page, class: Int-Customer)
Int-Sample
- wrapper (page, class: Int-Wrapper)
Note: You must always create a wrapper property and you must specify this wrapper property as Map from/to key on your connector rule.

I have an SR, in which customer had a similar query as above and I have suggested the above answer to them and they came up with the below query,Could you please help me in answering the query,
1.they wanted to know whether the class structure that need to be built will be based on the JSON file in the below screenshot1 or should the class structure be built
based on the Sample request and response?
2. Will the Clipboard page which they are giving as source in Methods tab connect-Rest rule gets directly converted to JSON file if the Map From is mentioned as JSON?
Also , Please find the 2nd screen shot for Class Structure they have built.
