How can we use a page reference for property value in a field value
Hi,
Want to include a property value in a field value. The property to be referenced is from a data page. Can it be referenced in a field value? I tried with below, but it didn't work:
<%=tools.findPage("DataPageName").getString("pxResultCount")%>

I think we cannot refer a data page (or any page which is outside of the primary page) in a field value.
The only way we can we can do this by coping the value from data page to a page that is emdeded in the work page and refer the path in the field value.

I think field values dont support page reference. They support parameters though. You can refer to Pega help for the syntax and implementation. The property value you need can be passed as a parameter. This feature generally used for message field values in order to display a validation error like - "The format of <Property Name> is in correct. Please provide valid inputs"
