How can export a Product file without Branch rulesets?

How can export a Product file without Branch rulesets? These branches will not be merged in trunk anytime soon. I promote the code via a Product zip file to the Test server. Once it is ported, I have to manually delete all rules in branches and then remove the branch on the Test server. Is there any way to exclude the branches when I am creating the export Product file?

Could you confirm whether your are updating Application to include in product rule, or adding individual rulesets, if you add individual rulesets in the product, branches should not be added to product import.

Thanks for your comments. I realized I need to remove the Application to Include record in order for the Rulesset to Include  to work.
