Hover event does not work on pxTextAbridge control
Hi All,
I have a section in which I have a control called pxTextAbridge, when I hover on the control, I have configured to call a local action in which I have configured a flow action to call the section. But the modal dialog does not display. When I do the same configuration for textInput control, it works. Could someone please help me how to configure hover event on pxTextAbridge control?

Are you seeing any javascript errors in dev tools console?
Have tried running tracer on hover over the control, did you find anything?

Hi,
I have tried configuring the same and have seen that the Hover event does not work on the show smart tip or smart info event on the pxTextAbridge control.
I tested the scenario in 7.3.1v.
Could you please confirm the version and provide the exact steps and the requirement to achieve it?

Did you open the pxTextAbridge control and review the code at all? Nothing in the current code logic tells me that there is support for any event/behavior on this control. The control when applied is only meant to truncate the text displayed.
