Has anybody had experience of scaling the Assignment objects > 1 million?
Hi,
We have a number of potential business applications that will generate very high volumes of Assignment objects that are characterised by a long life cycle (> 20 days) and would like to hear from anybody who has experience of a working system where Assignment object volumes > 1 million.
Some potential challenges we are thinking maybe in operations such as Get Next Work, System operations?

If you haven't engaged them for this project yet, you may find the sizing team useful for this and for general performance setup. Pega offers a basic rough-cut sizing service for customers in need of an estimate for what kind of load a prospective PRPC application will place on a given hardware infrastructure. This is geared for sizing a target production environment. This service is intended to provide a rough estimate early in the project life cycle.
There is no charge for this service for one sizing per application, so it's useful to engage them if you have a very large application or one with unusual performance requirements, like this.
If you're interested, you should contact your Account Executive or any Pega consultant already working with you and ask for the sizing team. They can start the process.

We are fully engaged with the hardware sizing process and team for these non-functional requirements and have been for the last 2 years of this program.
We did not highlight or get highlighted this volume of Assignments so hence the question.
