Hanlding Outlook Credential Window Using either ASO Manager or Credential Store in Pega Robotics(OpenSpan)
Hi
I have a requirement, When Ever Outlook(preferably 2013) is launched or credential Window appears prompting user to enter the credentials. Automation has to input the credentials into it(Using ASO Manager or Else credential Store).How can we handle this in Pega Robotics(OpenSpan) using outlook connector ?, i didn't find any relevant method/property/Event or component in toolbox. Please Suggest some solution.

Since OpenSpan cant directly interrogate or work with Outlook office applications without connectors. I found out a solution to handle this without the usage of script, I am able to Interrogate & capture Outlook Credentials window & automation is working fine & entering credentials when credentials window is prompted.
I am able to Interrogate the Outlook Application through below way. In Windows Applications properties by adding Outlook .exe as TargetPath & Outlook Shortcut Desktop file as Path , Start Method as StartAndWait.

But Even I tried with Windows Adapter(Specifying Outlook.exe as Path) but unable to interrogate Outlook controls. So I don't think this can be resolved with Adapter without capturing or interrogating any Control of Outlook.

Pega Robotics does not technically support interrogating Office applications. As such, certain controls may not be available to interrogate. If you can interrogate the parent window, you may be able to use SendKeys to get the credentials in. In addition, you might also look into writing a script using UI.Automation in C#. Lastly, if you are using the latest version of Studio, you can look into the new UIConnectors and potentially write your own methods to get text into them assuming the controls are build in .Net.
