GroupBy decision component - Average calculation

I was trying to calculate average using the group by shape. I didn't look at detailed steps of the course. I ended up filling out properties on this shape by only setting the .Average property by using the "AVERAGE" option in the dropdown.

The options available are "Average", "Sum", "Count" etc. Should the shape not calculate average if I enter only one row just by setting .Average property? The shape is working only if I also set .Count and .Sum properties.

Why is this so? Isn't it little confusing?

Hi Narayana

Are you trying to complete an exercise as part of this lesson? If so, which exact step?

You do not have to set count and sum for the average to work. Can you describe the behaviour you are observing with more details, with screen-shots may be?
