Problem Statement : We have our extraction processes running for extended hours (sometimes even 12 hrs) which is causing issues for any application downtime requirements. So is there anyway we can stop/pause BIX extraction for a brief amount of time.

I know we can kill the process and extraction will resume but I am not inclined towards killing as it will raise flags on the monitoring applications.

To avoid alerting & application reliability/stability I am looking for an option to stop / pause.
