BIX Generated File Permissions
Application generate BIX file through shell script run by Autosys job. Autosys Job uses admin user was85 to execute the script. Our script doesn't have step to adjust/give file permission. I was able to open/view file with my user id. Recently I lost access to open the file. We have not deployed any change related to BIX, shellscript etc. I see file permissions have been restricted automatically. Is there any property/script which controls the file permission generated by PEGA? Do i need to add a line in bix shell script to change file permission after it is generated.

Still not able to find any the cause of sudden change. As we are able to open/view/edit file with application ID, we are able to manage troubleshoot. It is just a hassle as previously we were able to access the files with my user ID.

@Rakesh Jha I dont think there is a way to configure extracted file permissions using BIX. Please see if this helps https://collaborate.pega.com/question/how-change-file-permission

@Rakesh Jha Basically there is no explicit property that is present for setting file permissions related to the files that are generated by BIX Process in PEGA. If the PEGA server is hosted on tomcat the default owner for the file will be tomcat. Once the file is generated, to the Autosys Job if we can pass the file permission and include the following command in the script then the file permissions will be changed. This command will provide all permissions to the file.
chmod 777 directory path/filename.extension
