Has any one done google bigquery integration with pega? Is there any api available ??
Hi @Vinoth, yes it has. Pega and Google have a very close working relationship as Pega can be natively run on Google Cloud Platform. Unfortunately, there isn't a native integration to BigQuery but it can and has been done by Pega customers.
@kerrb Hi, We are trying to connect to BigQuery inorder to fetch some results. So we are trying to create a datasource and execute stored procedure on the same.
Steps followed:
1. Connections on Tomcat app servers in context.xml and prconfig.xml completed.
2. Created a Database instance in pega and framed the URL based on recommendations from the google.
3. Placed all the required JDBC driver files.
Issue:
We are getting an error stating below but we are able to find manually the driver class from admin studio>tools>class lookup.
Status Value: In order to connect to a specific external database, the Pega server must be restarted after the jdbc driver jar has been added to the classpath and the jdbc driver class name has been defined in prconfig.xml. e.g. database/drivers="oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver;com.sybase.jdbc4.jdbc.sybdriver" : code: 0 SQLState: 08001 Message: No suitable driver DatabaseException caused by prior exception: java.sql.SQLException: No suitable driver | SQL Code: 0 | SQL State: 08001 |
