Getting error Error 404: Resource Requested:/images/pzPegaIcon.ico while launching pega

We recently upgraded the pega platfrom from version pega 7.1.9 to 7.3.1 and found that we often get the below error

404: Resource Requested:/images/pzPegaIcon.ico while launching pega

This happens whenever we restart the server and try to launch the url. But if we hit the pega URL again in another tab , we are not getting this issue.

There is no error received in log files too.

Kindly advise how to overcome this problem?

Hello Nagaraj,

Please use fiddler to trace the http traffic in the log to check the 404 error .

Do you see any console errors in the browsers.

Also you can download the console logs with chrome using developer option .

Hi Arun,

I could not reproduce this scenario as it happens sometime. when i try to re-enter the url, it does not show anything in developer console logs.

I could see this error for multiple binary files. 

can you please advise on this issue?
