Get Windows username from Pega login page
We need to get the Windows username from the login page and cross it with the credential entered. For example, the username entered is X12345 and the Windows username is X12345, so we will check if it is the same, if it is true the login will be authorized otherwise not.

Hi @ManjunathaC thanks for your response.
I checked this post before but is mentioned that will work only on Internet Explorer. As we know IE will not be available anymore. Do you know if there is other way to run in any browser?

@Jonathan Pereira Dint find any other ways. There is a way to add IE Tab extension on chrome, but not sure will that work.

@Jonathan Pereira Hi, as it was already discussed that might be not possible in other browser than IE. Overall, it looks like a bad security pattern, what's the requirement? Is it like you want to restrict the access to Pega to just whoever is logged into the current workstation? Is it supposed to be an additional check that the user didn't steal the credentials? Just curious about the use case.
