User gets blank page after login - intermittent
Have an intermittent problem where a user is logged into an external application. Pega 7 is configured with SSO. The user chooses to go to case manager. Case manager opens and the user only gets a blank page with a black bar at the top. This is intermittent in that a user will have the problem anywhere from an hour to all day. Then it works for another period of time, then back to having the problem again. When the user is seeing the problem, we see the following in the browser console:

Closing out this issue. There wasn't anything in logs that indicated any issues on the affected server. We ended up installing a new version of our application and it resolved our issue. So I can't really say what caused the issue, but the update to the application fixed the issue.

So I determined the intermittent part of it is that I have two tomcat/pega servers running behind a load balancer. Once server is working fine, while the other one has the problem. Had an administrator try to log into case manager on the bad server and noticed some HTTP 500 errors.

We believe the problem started after we merged a branch. So at this point I need to figure out how to fix the bad server. I've already tried a tomcat restart with no luck. Should I try the merge again? Or should I try something else?

Did you review the logs after you performed the merge? Did it appear to complete successfully? If this is the last known action I would focus on the logs immediately after and during this operation.
It's possible that operation could have been a total coincidence. It's hard to tell because a 500 response is a generic catch-all of a server error. Do you have an app server admin who can review the app server logs in detail with you in parallel?
