Pega Academy Online Learning is free, learn more about it here: https://academy.pega.com/. A great course to take first is our introduction to Pega: https://academy.pega.com/library/81/introduction-to-pega.

Regarding certification, while the courses are free, taking the exam is not. For example, you can enroll in the System Architect Essentials course and complete it free of charge - we will provide materials and cloud-based demo systems that help you complete the exercises. Taking the exam however will require you to purchase academy credits, and you can read all about it here: https://academy.pega.com/certifications.
