Forcing to do Post Value on every field in the form
Hi,
I am using Pega PV Framework.
I implemented the OOTB auditing functionality by using OOTB activity ComparePages (OnClick activity on my Save button click). When I hit Save button, the values filled in the form are not posted to clipboard and hence the activity is unable to compare them.
But, if I do "Post Value" on every field, then the values are posted to Clipboard and OOTB activity ComparePages is able to compare the values and is working as expected.
Doing "Post Value" on every field is not a better idea I feel. Raised an SR and got the reply saying that, it is an enhancement request and requested me to post here in this Community.
Please let me know how to proceed in this regard.

Hi Sreenivas,
Configure the Save button to call the action of calling [Run Script] - 'doSave' as below screenshot & see the results if they are posted to clipboard. As per your requirement you may ignore disableClientSideValidation script function.

Hi,
Thank you for your reply. But, if I do doSave, then it is not allowing me to run the LocalAction(Which is kept after doSave). It saves the form and just refreshes the section. My next action(LocalAction which is called after doSave) never fires.

You can maybe try refreshing the section on click of the button and call your activity as the pre-action for the refresh.
