I've got a report definition, pega 7.2.2. In the query section, I need to specify a value which is integer, and left padded with zeros. However, Every time I try to save the RD to test with something like "001" (without the quotes because it's an integer), on save, the RD wipes out my leading zeros. I've tried to create a parameter and set the default value to 001, and I've tried to pass in a parameter of 001. However, none of that works and I get no results because my field in the DB is padded with zeros.

It seems to me, that this is bad behavior and that I need to open an SR, but I figured I'd check with support community to see if there is an easy way to do it that I don't know about prior to submitting the SR.
