How to convert string to an integer in pega
In data transform, I have used a function toInt() in order to convert the string to an integer. But it is not working.

Hi,
Could you please attach a screenshot of how you have used toInt function in data transform. I have checked with the same function in local pega instance and it was working fine

In data transform, I have used this string to int convertion function. On saving this, it does not show any error. But when I run this data transform, Value "0" is stored in the source property

With @toInt(someStringWithoutNumberValue)
-> When you use @toInt (field) on a field that does not have an assigned value, by default it returns 0 (imagen captura1)
With @toInt(someStringNumber)
-> Similarly if you use it directly on a number that has decimals, it will give you a strange result (imagen captura2)
With @round(@toDecimal(someStringNumber))
-> The best thing if you have decimals and don't want them, is to convert the string to decimal and then do a rounding, at the end you will get your integer: (captura03)
