Flow-New Method is adding new pxFlow instance
We have a scenario, where Rep will pend the case to 40-50 days waiting for some infor from Customer.
Our internal process will pick the case daily to unpend the case, if the case meets criteria to unpend. However, in Pega activity we used Flow-New Method to call the flow where we have the unpend logic.
This Flow-New Method is adding one new instance (Embedded-Page) in pxFlow Object under pyWorkPage. Due to which since the pend is for more days, pxFlow Reaches to 50 pages.
Next time when our internal process picks the same case, the case is not able to proceed thourgh the flow (Where Flow-New method was used).
We observed PXMAXFLOWADDCOUNT is restricted to 50 which is not allowing the case to proces in the flow. Due to which case is not un-pending in required time.
My Question:
How can we restrict adding Embedded page to pxFlow each time a Flow-New method is triggered on the case ?

The purpose of Flow-New is to spin off a new flow for a case. If you want to continue processing the existing flow, you can use the ResumeFlow activity to perform the flow action.
