Flattening of table containing BLOB data
We are exposing the columns of a table with BLOB data to reduce the size as its massive and we believe we can get a large space saving as part of our cloud migration.
We have approximately2 million records and believe we need to automate the opening and saving of these records to change the way the data is stored.
Has anyone else done this before and do you have any tips or process to share?

Please be mindful when exposing or optimizing the columns. Having a large number of columns could also degrade the application's performance.
We have used the column population job and pzRunExposeCols OOTB activity to update millions of records in Production.
