Finding a contact using MicrosoftOutlook FindContact Component-Pega Robotics Automation 8.0
Hi Team,
My Requirement is to Fetch the details using microsoftoutlookcomponent Findcontact method. I have implemented it by using the extract proxy method as described on below page

But im facing an issue here, im able to extract the contact details of a person when im saving it manually in outlook ,im not able to fetch the details when i have just imported all my skype contacts in to outlook
And also please suggest me any other way where i can fetch contact details of a person directly by interrogating skype, using FindContact method i have to save the contact details first in my outlook otherwise the Findcontact( Boolean ) is returing False.
Please let me know if further any details are required.

FindContact will only work if your contacts are in Outlook. I am not sure what you mean when you say you are importing your Skype contacts to Outlook. When I do that FindContact works. Do you mean that you are showing your Outlook contacts in Skype?
I have not tried interrogating Skype, so I can't speak that part of your question.

Hi Jeff,
Importing contacs from skype means copying the contacts from Skype and pasting them in outlook, i have attached a word document, PFA
If i'm following the copy paste way the contact is getting added in to contacts tab in outlook, but I'm NOT able to fetch using findcontact.
please let me know the reason.

I tested what you showed as the process and was able to Find the contacts I copied. Are they perhaps being copied into a different Outlook file?
