Filtering not working properly in grid, after applying sorting Function to Work object in RD.

I have applied same function alias in my report definition for two different columns(one is pyID and other one is another Workobject ID). Sorting works fine for both of them. However, the filtering doesnot work for one of the column.
In my application there are two ID columns in RD(one is PYID(SI-xx) and other is Scenario ID(ST-xx). Whichever column I keep first in the order, sorting and filtering works fine for it. However the second column filtering does not work fine. It says NO results found when clicked on filter. I have used same Function alias for both the columns(IDToInteger) as described int he given link and different control for the column as prefix are different.
I tried with different Function alias for both the columns, but even that did not work. Can you please help me with this

1. Please attach screen shots so we could understand your problem better.
2. Is sorting and filtering working correctly at the RD level for both columns?
3. Are you using the RD as a source for grid(Table) and attempting sorting and filtering there?

I do not see any link. Perhaps you forgot to link it. Could you share what link you are referring to and what clarify controls you are using for the columns?
