File Listener - Source Mask
Hi Team,
In file listener i gave source mask as *.txt , but some times text files are having TXT(capital) extension. So my listener is not picking up "TXT" files , its is only picking "txt" files.I want both extensions to be picked by same listener.Is there any way to resolve this instead of using multiple listeners.

Adding to the above explanation there is a bug which is found in v7.1.7 release and it has been fixed in v7.1.8 i.e. BUG-177475
So my suggestion would be to upgrade the PRPC to latest or raise an SR with the GCS team for the fix if you don't have any plans of upgrade.

I had looked into the settings in the File Listener and found a "Disable Case Sensitivity" option as shown in the attachment, this feature can satisfy your requirement.

Yes this option is not available in v7.1.7 and it has been introduced from v7.1.8. I am trying to cross check with our product specialists if there is any way to achieve this and let you know.

Suresh, you can leave the source mask blank to get all files picked up but you have to ensure that the files that reside in the source directory are only those which are useful in your case(be it .txt or .TXT).
OR
you may find a way to store files in your system in lower cases, try something like " rename 'y/A-Z/a-z/' * " . you can ask your web administrator to achieve this.
