File Download is not working when using pxGenerateExcelFile from Datatransform
Iam trying to avoid an activity and trying to use a datatransform to generate and excel file.
I have set all the required attributes to be on the page. And tried calling pxGenerateExcelFile activity using the function pxExecuteAnActivity.
But, i dont see the file being downloaded. but the execution of the function shows as true.
is it possible to use pxGenerateExcelFile from a datatransform?

Yes, it is possible to use `pxGenerateExcelFile` from a data transform. However, there are a few things to keep in mind:
1. The `pxGenerateExcelFile` activity requires a file path as an input. This file path must be a valid file path on the server where the data transform is running. 2. The `pxGenerateExcelFile` activity will not automatically download the file to your local computer. You will need to use another activity, such as `pxDownloadFile`, to download the file to your local computer.

@SravanthiM6788The pxGenerateExcelFile activity uses a method "tools.sendfile" to download the file. I believe you are checking that DownloadFile flag to true while invoking the activity. From what I have experienced, the only whay for this to work is by using a event called "Open URL in a New Window", or by running the activity manually. I believe that method "sendfile" requires either a runrecord page or Open URL method to send those HTTP request to the current browser to send the stream data so that it is converted and download appropriately. But you can let us know if you were able to figure out a solution using data transform which isn't involving this Open URL action or manual rule run so that it will be a great reference.
