Feedback on Mission Exercise Validation – Low-Code App Builder (US-004)
Hello Pega Academy Team,
I would like to report a validation gap in the Low-Code App Builder mission exercise, specifically in US-004: Configure the Identify Transfers View.
In the Edit field configuration of Credit Transfers, the default option "Add and edit records within" is set to Modal. However, to correctly add records in the Identify Transfers view during case execution, this setting needs to be changed to Table rows.
Currently, if a learner leaves the default value as Modal, the mission verification still marks the exercise as successfully completed, even though the functionality does not work correctly when running the case. The learner only realizes the issue later, when they are unable to add records in the Identify Transfers view.
This may create confusion for learners because:
-
The configuration mistake is not detected during mission verification.
-
The case does not behave as expected during runtime.
-
Learners may assume they completed the exercise correctly.
It would be helpful if the mission validation could:
-
Verify that "Add and edit records within" is set to Table rows.
Improving this validation step would make the exercise more accurate and reduce confusion for learners.
