facing issue while running a script related to EXCEL
Hi Team,
I am trying to do the example given in the below link and followed the same steps as well, but it's giving the below error
"The type or name space name '-workbook' could not be found(are you missing a using directive or assembly reference?)".
i have tried restarting openspan and also verified the steps twice which are given in the below link.

please guide me on this

Hi Suresh,
I had tried to implement the functionality to fetch the names of the worksheets from the excel file using the code specified in the above shared link and faced the similar issue.
Also i noticed some other problems also in that code, so you can try the code specified in my screenshots.
And i tried to fetch the names of worksheets in the arraylist on click of a button as explained in my usecase.
Code Snippet:
ArrayList result = new ArrayList();
//Iterate over worksheets and get the names
if(workbook != null) {
foreach(Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.Worksheet sheet in workbook.Sheets) {
if(sheet != null){
result.Add(sheet.Name);
}
}
}
return result;
Input Parameter : Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel._Workbook workbook
Hope this will help you to achieve your requirement.
