Facing issue with Mainframe - An invalid presentation space was identified in openspan adapter start method
Getting the below error while trying to start mainframe adapter.
"An invalid presentation space was identified in openspan adapter start method"
Session id is configured and all the path, targetpath, dll are given. Kindly help on the same.
@ShanmugaPriyaM3029 I have seen this when the SessionID you are searching for is not actually started. You can use the WinHLLAPIUtils component to see a list of HLLAPI sessions. I would check that to see if the one you expect is actually present.
@ThomasSasnett The session id is set to A in both open span text adapter and in mainframe application. The pega studio version is Proprietary information hidden and the mainframe used in IBM Personal Communications (32 bit). Upon clicking start interrogation the mainframe doesn't launch.
@ShanmugaPriyaM3029 With the text adapter, you need to manually start the application first and connect to session "A" (in your case). Once that is launched, then click Start Interrogation in your text adapter. At runtime, you'd basically do the same thing. Before you call Start on the text adapter, make sure that the session is up and running. You can use a Windows adapter to interrogate the window of PCOM or you can use the WinHLLAPIUtils component to get a list of the active sessions.
