Any idea or any one used External elastic search API being used in Pega to have better performance in dash board.

Our requirement to form dashboard(Work list, Work basket content) by using some technic to improve performance.​ Because we already have lacs of records in work tables and assignment tables that lacking the performance. So that our client is looking for a solution kind of the away how pega elastic search using instead query the work and assignment tables directly.
