external DB connection issue
Hi,
when iam trying to connect with external DB oracle ,1) i have kept configuration details in tomcat-->conf--->context.xml 2)i have kept ojdbc14.jar in tomcat--->lib folder 3)i have created DataBase instance from designer studio, but giving error like "no suitable driver found" though i have added ojdbc14.jar in server lib folder, can someone suggest me to resolve this issue, please find the attached screen shots for clarity

and i have uncommented " <env value="com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver;oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver" name="database/drivers"/>" this line also in prconfig.xmlfile, plz find the attachment for this

first your jdbc driver ojdbc14.jar is too old, check
https://community.pega.com/knowledgebase/release-note/supported-jdbc-drivers for the supported jdbc drivers. Additionally, latest version of tomcat does not necessarily load all the jars in lib directory, see this link for details (you need to create an endorsed directory or use the jvm argument described in the link below).

If you still run into that error, try adding the following into your prconfig.xml file:
<env name="database/drivers" value="org.postgresql.Driver" />
