Extending prospect class or create a new one ?

Hi All,

We want to implement campaigns for prospects, the data is loaded into prospect table by some ETL tool. Now question is

1. Whether we need to use PegaMKT-Data-Prospect class which is shipped with PM and add our columns in the same table. What are the side effects to using this  OOTB class.

2. Or we can go with new implementation layer prospect class. ?

Any thoughts will helps us. Thanks in advance

Hi,

It is advised to create a new implementation class extending PegaMKT-Data-Prospect, for any new column and properties that need to be mapped.
