Export to Excel (Exported file name is appending with "%3A" instead of Underscore in Chrome and Mozilla)
Hi Team,
Recently upgrade from 7.1 to 7.2.2. In reports when we do export to excel, Exported file name is displayed as %3A instead of Underscore (_). This issue is happening in only Chrome and Mozilla Browsers. In Internet explorer (IE 11.0v) its working fine.
Please see the attachment for correct name before upgrade (CorrectFileName.PNG) and after upgrade (InCorrectFileName.PNG).
Please let me know if there is any solution for this.

In the activity “pzViewExcelData” -> Step2 (Java step), Pega is replacing empty character with space. However, it needs to convert few other special characters as well
Follow Below Steps:
- Private Edit the activity “pzViewExcelData”
- In step2 (Java step), add the below line at step 34 (just after listViewFileName = listViewFileName.replace(" ","_");) as shown in the below pic:
listViewFileName = listViewFileName.replaceAll("[\", ?, *, <, >, |, : ]","_");
- Save the rule.
- Test the use-case.
Since this is an Final Activity , Pega Systems will provide HotFix for this.
