Error while installing Personal Edition 8.7.5
I have received an build file for pega personal edition 8.7.5 from pega. After download I did not find any executable file start the installation (attached full extraction details). Once I ran the install.bat file from "scripts" folder it is throwing below error in the log.
BUILD FAILED C:\Users\Mridulsil\Downloads\updated\scripts\setupDatabase.xml:465: The following error occurred while executing this line: C:\Users\Mridulsil\Downloads\updated\scripts\setupDatabase.xml:902: Set a password for the [email protected] operator by using the pega.admin.password property. The password must start and end with non-whitespace characters, be between 5 and 64 characters long, and cannot contain an *, ?, [, or ].
Is Pega personal edition required separate Database installation because previously I didn't receive any such kind of error while installing any personal edition.

Hi @MRIDULSIL: Are you sure that you are using personal edition installer? Can help us to understand where you downloaded it from? From the file name, I don't think this is personal edition installer file. Please validate it.
Regarding the DB, Personal edition installation will take are of installing postgress DB in your system. No separate DB installation required.
Please also note that there is no more plan for personal edition from PEGA for latest versions. See details here.

@MRIDULSILYou are using the Enterprise Edition, and not the Personal Edition. Enterprise Edition needs the setupdatabase.properties file to be correctly setup, while the Personal Edition has it pre-populated.
Please re-check what you are downloading.

@VTALUKDAR ArulDevan Thank you for your reply, however this is the normal software request I have done in pega to download personal edition previously. Attached is the screenshot for reference.
If this is enterprise edition of software then may be there is some process change but this is the way I used to raise request to download personal edition. Also yes, Pega is planning not to provide personal editions from latest version onwards, instead they are providing community edition for personal use as a trial basis.

Hi @MRIDULSIL: Software request (as per your screenshot) is for licensed products.
To get personal edition, navigate to Software -> My Software from My Pega portal (https://my.pega.com/), you will see link to download Pega Personal Edition in the right pane.
