Error while adding fields to Data Type in Community Edition
I created a new Data Type but there is no option to add fields. I clicked on view data model and tried to add from there and got below error. But there is a unlocked ruleset available.
I am facing this error in multiple places. I am not able to add new fields from 'views' as well.
"The following errors were caught
Create new record failed: No unlocked Rulesets/Versions found that are valid for this record. Unlock at least one Ruleset/Version that can contain records of this type"

Since you're in Dev Studio, goto the Records tab and edit the columns there.

Please ensure that you save it in the unlocked ruleset, as it seems you are currently saving in the locked one.

Hi @Koti Raja, As I attached screenshot in the document, I have an unlocked version in the ruleset, I created data type in the same ruleset

Hi @pradeepchandran,
Yes I have seen the document which you have posted.
I think lock and save the new ruleset and again unlock the new ruleset.
And also make sure your application ruleset in the top of the stack

Please try it by logoff and login still if you get the same error try to create a branch and add datatype in branch,then merge the branch to unlocked ruleset version.

Please create the new rules using the development branch as a best practice. Can you please create a new branch and check if this issue exists? If yes, please create a support ticket.

Before this problem,i lenrnt to make branches and merge to application,Branch Development need lock all ruleset,I did as it required.
after that,I am sure i unlocked the ruleset,then i create a dataType successfuly,But there is no option to create a filed.I try to create [+] button in [Data model] canvas but failed...

It seems that your ruleset version may be locked. Please make sure to unlock it and add the required fields.
