Enabling WS-Secrity in Robotics?
Hi Everyone,
Very recently I started working on PRA process. I am planning to enable WS-Security while publishing the WSDL in Robotics.
I could see IP address filtering, but not the WS-Security.
Any suggestions?
FYI..Currently we are using PEGA 7.1.7 and Robotics 8.

The service client component that handles wsdl calls does not officially support ws-security. In theory the component has the capabilities to support such calls, but this has not been thoroughly tested and verified through our QA department.

I am not entirely sure what you mean when you say the following:

Are you using the RPA Pega REST API, or are you using the service client component within your solution automation?
Could you elaborate a little more on your plans?

Thanks for your response.
We have developed one RPA solution to address one of the business requirement. My current development environment in PEGA is 7.1.7. So, there is no direct integration available between PEGA and Robotics.
We have generated a WSDL from the Robotics to invoke RPA process from PEGA end.
In general, at PEGA end we enable WS-Security for any sort of communication from PEGA to any external application which is consuming PEGA service.
In the same way, do we have any option to enable WS-Security kind of thing; to enable at Robotics end?
FYI, currently I am using IP Address Filtering for authentication.
