enable SSL for BIX command line, but keep other application connection none-SSL.

PEGA 7.1.7 with IBM DB2 10.5 on AIX

BIX 7.1.7 or 7.2.2 on AIX

We have BIX command line running on a standalone server. Now it is required to enable SSL for BIX, but keep the rest of application connection using default non-SSL connection. It seems we can use prconfig.xml on BIX to enable SSL for BIX only.

Please confirm. Also do you have sample prconfig.xml file for how to enable SSL ?

Hello Shan,

Normally for the SSL setup we will dedicate a port for the SSL in the server configuration files .

For example in tomcat we will do it in server.xml , i am not sure in your case how we will enable SSL for bix standalone server .

If you want to encrypt password in prconfig.xml you can do that using keyring file .
