Enable Navigation Link

What is the exact use of "Enable Navigation Link" present on the assignment shape or subprocess shape in Process Flow. In screen flow we use them to jump from one screen to another screen.

We can use the "Enable Navigation Links" option when we use breadcrumbs in our standard flow by including ProcessSteps, ProcessSteps_Vertical non-autogenerated sections in perform harness.
