Email Listener Startup
Hi,
Greetings. I have email listener which has the details using REST call (ex: Email Account Username, HostName, etc). The Service Package that email listener uses have Require Authentication enabled and the Requestor Login details are provided in the Email Listener however when starting the application, the listener does not start and fails with the error, You Lack Access Required to run the activity pyInvokeRestConnector (this has Require Authentication) enabled in the Security tab, my question is when my Service Package has Authentication enabled why do i still get this error? I am on Pega 7.3.1

Can you add few screen shots of your configuration. Do you have a stack trace associated with the error on PegaRULES logs?

Can you try checking 'Allow direct invocation from client or service' in security tab of that activity and see if it works.
Also, try directly executing the datapage and see if you are getting exceptions.
If you still see exceptions, try unchecking the require authentication once and see.

It works if i disable the Require Authentication within Security tab of the activity, no other options worked. But my question is if the service package i use is enabled with Requires Authentication and the Listener has Requestor Login details provided, why do I still get the error that only authenticated clients can start this.
