ElasticSearch Version support for Pega not clear
Hi,
We have pega running on our own Cloud. My question is about Elastic Version support from Pega.
In your support document, under certified version its mentioned as 7.16.3, 7.17.9, 8.10.3 & 8.15.1 and in the description its mentioned "As a best practice, use the latest Elasticsearch version." .
What do you mean latest version 8.15,1(?), Can we use ES version 8.17.x ?
Please clarify.

@_Kavi we have faced the same question.
We connected our SRS to a Elastic Search 8.17 and it did not work. During re-index we get many exceptions in SRS like the following:
com.pega.fnx.search.common.IOExceptionUtils java.io.IOException: Unable to parse response body for Response{requestLine=POST /_bulk?timeout=1m HTTP/1.1, host=https://our_elasticsearch:443, response=HTTP/1.1 200 OK}
It seems as if the SRS service cannot parse the response from ES 8.17.
On Elastic Search itself we don't see an error and also the HTTP 200 Status indicates that the call from SRS to elastic seems to be processed just fine.
In Pega the problem manifests like the following:
"The service reported a problem while indexing the data, please collect the logs and contact the support."
We will try to roll back to Elastic Search 8.15 and see if the problem will disappear.
