Dynamic container in Layout Group
We can add dynamic container in tab group to open items in new tabs dynamically. As Pega suggests to use layout group instead of tab group in new versions, how do we achieve this dynamic tab creation in layout group keeping the same features available in dynamic container (means when the new tabs get created the details like WO id as an example gets set as tab title. Want to keep the same feature available also in layout group when tabs are created dynamically)?

Hi Avisek,
Please try the below approach:
1) You can create a harness and add a screen layout from the different choice eg: (Left Pane).
2) In the left Pane of screen layout, add the section eg: a button to create a work object.
3) when the work object is created, it will create on the right pane in tab layout form.
Refer the attached image.
I hope this will help you in achieving your requirement.

But I guess we will need to customize the other items as well (like the assignments being opened from WL/WB etc.). I mean it should behave the same way as tab layout when any item is opened from anywhere.

Hi Avisek,
By default layout group consider tab as display mode
1. Drag layout group and give the source as paglist and make sure pagelist have items in it
2. Drag the section within the layout group
3.Add a title to the layout group something like subscript which should be there in pagelist
and we will fetch dynamic tabs

I guess you are talking about the feature CPM FW uses by default to create a pagelist and having a repeating DL to open them in tabs. But I guess it will need customization for all items to create a pagelist whenever they are clicked from anywhere on the portal. I am just wondering if there is any OOTB setting in 7.4 for layout group to enable this feature instead of custom coding?
