DWA session locks when user exits using browser close option
hi all,
We are trying to implement DWA in our application. I am able to achieve by following the implementation and Customization articles found in PDN.
I am facing session lock issue when user try to close the form using browser close option. I have made necessary changes provided in below article -

The above fix is working only for Internet Explorer, but we are using Chrome. So can any one suggest me how can resolve this issue for the browsers other than IE ?

Kindly check the structure whether any element present with "perf_ext_activity" id or not by using developer tools option in chrome. If yes change .value with .innerHTML and try the scenario

Thank you for the reply. I have verified chrome and I couldn't find any element with "perf_ext_activity" as id.
Below is my understanding -
Snippet suppose to execute in case of IE -
if(pega.env.ua.ie) {

document.getElementById("perf_ext_activity").value="CloseAndLogOff";
document.forms[0].submit();
return "Proceeding to logoff";

where as for Chrome, below snippet suppose to execute -

When I try to remote trace, In case of chrome 'CloseAndLogoff' activity is not executing.

Hi Gopi,
I couldn't verify it. Due to some internal security issues, currently public URL (internet) is blocked and intranet URL is supported only for IE and not for other browsers. I am working with respective teams on this. I will updated this thread once I could verify if control is entering into Else block or not.
