Drop Down in data table
Hi,
I need to add a dropdown value for one of the record in existing data type. Can anyone provide suggestion on this please.
I have attached the screenshot. There I have to make a TemplateType value as a dropdown type and currently it is a text input. I have created a property for TemplateType with control as dropdown and added values in locallist.
But still I'm unable to view dropdown for TemplateType.

Hi Sangeetha,
I don't think you can change the existing Text type property to any list type in your data type as the system won't allow it to change a single value property type to the list type. If you want to store the list type content into your property then you might need to create a list type[i.e. Picklist] property in your data type rather than Text type. So you can either delete the property from data type and recreate with the same name of list type OR create another property in your data type to store list content. Hope this answers your query.

@RSANGEETHA I couldn't find any list type in Pega 7.1.8 version apart from Page List option where you can change in the Property type drop down field from Single Value to Page List.
