Draw a combo box- not responding - must close it

I encounter a annoyed problem when I learn to use Pega Robotics Studio.

when I insert a combo box in the windows application form, then the application will show as the screen shot.

My system is windows 10 (x64), and I have install the necessary patch when i install Pega Robotics Studio.

Anyone can help me solve this problem?

Hello Wood,

Are you facing this issue only during the addition of Combo box in your project or all the time?

You can look into this discussion to enable the logs to find the root cause as we have very less information to figure out the issue as of now.

I'sure my excel version is correct.

Asides, i installed Microsoft SQL server management studio v17. It requested another version of visual studio tools. I'm not sure whether it will impact this.

I feel it would be better if you install the suggested Microsoft SQL server management studio during installation process.

Thank you, Mahesh. I uninstall the SSMS, then re-install the Pega Robotic Studio, and seems the problem is resolved.

Asides, can you advise which version of Microsoft SQL server management studio should i install?

Good to see that your issue has been resolved and for more information about the version which you want to install you can have a look into the installation guide of Pega Robotic Studio. In my system, Microsoft SQL Server 2014 has been installed during the installation of Pega Robotic Studio 8.0.

This is most likely an issue with your environment. Can you please share more information with us.

  1. Is it possible for you to attach a screenshot of your installed applications?
  2. Do you have Visual Studio installed alongside Pega Robotics Studio?
  3. What do you mean by, "installed the necessary patch"?
  4. Have you already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Studio? What were the results, any change?
  5. What version of Pega Robotics are you using?
