Combo Box Of Webpage Not Updating With Value Inserted By Pega
In our latest automation, Pega is inserting a value into a combo box which is in the list of values. However, the combo box is not recognizing the selected value. What do I need to do to get the value inserted to be recognized and complete this web form configuration? As you can see from the attached screen shot, the value that is being entered by Pega into the combo box is one of the values in the list but the value in the list is not selected on the dropdown and thus not recognized and so the form won't allow the automation to move on as it thinks nothing has been selected...

I see the control is not a straight combo box.If it is so, can use select item by text/Index property with other raise events(if required). For such controls you have to understand the page behavior from the developers options.

Start by using the Select methods listed by chakri. If those don't work or when your web page is not recognizing your input even though it is visible on the screen, I use the SendKeys method. This will type in the value as if a user entered it. Depending on how the combobox works you may only need to send in the first few keys of the value you want to select.

Thank you both for your responses. I have tried a number of things to try to make it work but all to no avail. The methods associated with combo boxes don't show up when I interrogate the page. I have found the combo box is a JQuery Select2 but that doesn't help me solve the problem of updating it. Unfortunately, I may need to call the PHP API directly rather than use the form interrogation feature but then I have to get access to things that I'd rather not have to get access to... I'm not sure if anyone has any ideas how to solve this or if there's some info I can provide so you can direct me but I can't move forward until this problem is resolved.
