The download manager may not accurately determine the download results.
Hello,
I apologize for any grammatical errors as I am using translation services.
I am currently developing a robot using PEGA Automation to download files from a website. For this, I am using the "WaitForDownloads" feature in the download manager to determine whether a download has occurred.
However, I am experiencing an issue where, despite the download process being visible on the screen, the download manager does not always detect the files.
What could be the potential causes of this issue? Additionally, could you please provide me with any suggestions for improvement?
Below is the environment information I am using
- Edge version: 110
- OS: Windows 10 Pro 21H2

@ShunsukeT17462791 Typically, with the component, you want to clear all items from the list before you download. Once you clear the items, then you can call the WaitForDownloads method. This has two inputs;
- downloadStartTime - The amount of time to wait to allow downloads to start. We know that most websites do not begin downloads immediately, they make take a few seconds to gather the file or prepare it before it starts to download.
- timeout - The amount of time to wait for an item to appear in the file list.
