Does PRPC 6.2 SP2 support DB2 UDB V10.5?
We are currently running DB2 UDB 9.7 and have recently been told by our DBAs that we must upgrade to 10.5 very soon. Previously, we were told by Pega that 6.2 SP2 would work on DB2 UDB 10.1. Has anyone successfully run on UDB 10.5?

As a follow-up: Has anyone successfully run PRPC 6.2 SP2 on a DB2 UDB 10.5?
I realize it is not supported in that configuration but I will be forced to upgrade either this year or next. I won't have enough time to upgrade the application to Pega 7 before I lose IBM support for both 9.7 and 10.1. I'd like to know if anyone has experienced any issues with running on 10.5.

It's worth keeping in mind that we do provide support for PRPC on newer platform components, the extent as outlined by our platform support policies. See section 6 on page 1 (after the table of contents) of the platform support guide, on "PRPC and newer Platform Components"
It is Pegasystems’ policy not to backwards-test new versions of Platform Components with older releases of PRPC. Support for new platform products is provided through newer versions of PRPC software. If you choose to upgrade Platform Components to the latest releases, but want to stay on older releases of PRPC, you may enter support requests for any problems encountered. However, if the root cause of these problems stems from the fact that the older versions of PRPC were not designed to handle functionality in the newer Components, Pegasystems may request that you upgrade your PRPC version to a release that directly supports that newer Component, as listed in this Guide.
That said, checking to see if anyone has done this is a good way to be warned of any pitfalls ahead of time.
Did upgrading UDB work with that version of Pega? We have to upgrade WAS and DB2 next year for apps developed on PRPC 6.1 and PRPC 6.3 SP1. In 2017, we need to upgrade WAS to at least 8.5.5 and UDB to v10.5. The network folks would like to upgrade to WAS 9 while the DBAs would like to upgrade UDB to v11.1. Upgrading from 6.1 to 6.3 SP1 should be less work than from 6.1 to 7.2.2.
