Does Pega support multitenant databases?

Hi,

Oracle have started changing how databases are built in terms of their infrastructure, they are moving towards a multitenant architecture/build.

We are looking into the possibilities of converting our non-multitenant databases into multitenant databases.

For this we need to ensure that our Pega applications can support multitenant databases. Please advise.

We use Pega 7.1.9

I am not aware of any official statement regarding this. You should get in touch with Pega product management through your account manager. Technically it should work, but you definitely need to get the official backing especially you are running Oracle MT for mission-critical applications.

Oracle says an existing database can simply be adopted to multitenant architecture and no application changes required.

We will check this with Pega product management.
